Feeding yourself and your family well is the cornerstone to good living and well being. The change of seasons means changes in food and provide a great opportunity to re-connect with food and offerings we can place on the dinner table.

Broccoli Salad

(everybody hates the sound of it but everybody loves it!)

Raw broccoli florets cut up into small pieces

Cup of cashew nuts unsalted

Cup of sultanas

Cup of apricots cut up fine

Red Pepper finely diced

Red onion finely diced

Aoli dressing to mix

Combine all ingredients.

Tip: Never mention the words raw broccoli to your audience. I have been known to call it “Broccoli Tree Forest Salad” Hey, food should be visually appealing, so why not an enticing title to match?!!
