Meet Toni

I established Flourish Coaching Ltd in 2003…wow time does fly! I love the word ‘flourish’ it resonates with women and embodies so much of what we want to be in our own lives. As a coach I have the privilege of learning all about my clients professional and personal lives,so it seems only right that I share a little about my own life and experiences. On a recent personal audit my family, friends and colleagues described me as ‘incredibly loyal and supportive’ ‘always willing to help others with a great sense of humour!’ These qualities are really important to me and are pivotal to the success I achieve in my client coaching relationship.
Professionally
I love working alongside women who want to live fulfilling and successful lives. I am particularly passionate about helping mothers combine the demands of motherhood, running a household and career through enhanced life management and personal coaching. I also love working with women who are courageously becoming ‘solopreneurs’ and supporting their business vision and women who want to change direction but aren’t quite sure which direction to point their compass. I place great importance on offering a very personal level of service to my clients, which is open, respectful and fun.
Walking my own talk is paramount to my continued growth and success, both personally and professionally. Being a professional coach is of utmost importance to me and I am dedicated, passionate and committed to my ongoing learning and professional development. As an Associate Certified Coach of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) you can be assured that you are working with a professional coach who is coach specific trained to a high skill level, adheres to core coaching competencies and a transparent code of ethics. I also enjoy ‘giving back’ in my role as a mentor coach to coaching students and also serving on the ICF Southern Region Leadership Team.
I am currently in my final year of study towards a Diploma in Counselling, based on a Person Centred modality. I believe that this complements my coaching and will broaden my learning and strengthen my skill set, adding value to all my clients. Since the September earthquake I have had the privlege of being part of the Earthquake Trauma Response Team in Canterbury working alongside those affected by the earthquakes in a counselling role.
Here is a little more about my professional background to date, it will continue to grow as I explore new avenues of learning and personal growth.

Personally…
I really enjoy combining a rewarding career with my first love, my family. My husband Paul and I have been married fourteen years and love the Canterbury lifestyle and raising our family of three young boys. Life is busy, but the older and wiser I get, the more I realise what is really important to me and my life reflects my true values and my vision for life to fun, fulfilling and authentic.
Since turning forty I made a commitment to set myself a regular ‘stretch goal’. These goals are the ones far enough outside your comfort zone to terrify you, so training for my first marathon seemed to fit the bill! I completed the Auckland Marathon in 4hours 25 minutes and felt estatic that I finished! Our family time is focused on our children’s activities and spending time and laughter with family and friends. I also love cooking and reading , watching films and living a fit and healthy life.
